Modifying Cells to Fight Skin Cancer?

Some scientists are making headway in the fight against skin cancer in Germany where they modified blood cells to use to attack tumor cells and wiped out the cancer in two male patients with advanced melanoma. Come again you did what? That is what they are saying, could it be true?
