Low Back Pain and Posture

Posture is controlled by “slow twitch” phasic muscles. These muscles are unique in that they are not voluntary muscles and do not respond well to active exercise protocols like stretching and strengthening. These muscles do respond well to what is referred to as reactive muscle training.
