In the 1990s, when a mild recession hit, Australians went into franchising and emerged successfully.  Today, according to Wright, this trend is beginning to start all over again.Employees who suffered pay cuts or those who are about to lose their jobs are thinking of getting a franchise.  Many believe that it is easier to buy a franchise than start and build a business from the ground up.  Wright reveals, “Unlike other businesses, the franchising system will essentially tell you what to do.”
